Presenters
The principal presenters are Dr. David Ireland, the founder and lead pastor of Christ Church in northern New Jersey; Jack Redmond, M.Ed., M.Div., the Church Mobilization pastor at Christ Church; and Dr. Ron Walborn, the Dean of Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, New York. All presenters are seminary graduates and content experts in Christian apologetics.

David D. Ireland, Ph.D.

Dr. David Ireland is founder and lead pastor of Christ Church, a 9,000-member multisite congregation in New Jersey representing over 70 nationalities. In his 30-plus years of ministry, in addition to shepherding this multiracial megachurch, Dr. Ireland has ministered throughout the world—addressing national and international audiences in over 75 nations. He has embraced this global platform and built a reputation for teaching culturally relevant messages that inspire and empower. He is the author of over 20 books covering a wide variety of topics such as spiritual disciplines, diversity, leadership and practical everyday living. As a dynamic Bible teacher, author, leadership consultant and coach, Rev. Ireland is passionate about helping other church leaders and Christ followers from around the world maximize their potential for the kingdom of God.

Dr. Ireland holds an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, a graduate degree in civil engineering, a master’s degree in theology, an earned Ph.D. in organizational leadership, completed post-doctoral work at the University of Pennsylvania, and is currently a candidate for a graduate degree in social innovation from the University of Cambridge in England.

He and his wife, Dr. Marlinda Ireland, have been married since 1984 and have two adult daughters and a son-in-law.

Jack Redmond, M.Ed., M.Div.

Jack has an extensive history as an educator and Bible teacher including five years in public schools followed by eighteen years in full time ministry. He is currently the Church Mobilization Pastor serving on the Christ Church Teaching Team, overseeing Christ Church Global Missions Department, multiple discipleship ministries including My Next 6 Months, G.R.O.W. Classes and multiple evangelism and outreach programs. His formal education includes teacher certification from Rowan University and graduate work including a Master of Education from Columbia University and a Master of Divinity from Regent University with a specialization in Church Leadership.

Additional hands on ministry includes traveling regularly to India and Nicaragua for evangelism outreaches and pastoral leadership training efforts. This combined with fourteen years of street ministry in the New York Metro region and leading frequent regional apologetic trainings has equipped him to train people both on an academic and practical hands on level.

Jack currently lives in Mount Olive, New Jersey with his wife Antoinette and their four daughters.

Ronald Walborn, M.Div, D.Min

Dr. Ron Walborn is the Dean of Alliance Theological Seminary and the College of Bible and Christian Ministry at Nyack College. He has been on faculty at Nyack ATS since the fall of 1999. Ron also serves on the Board of Directors for the Christian and Missionary Alliance and has served on the Theological Issues Committee for the denomination.

Ron is originally from Western Pennsylvania where his father was a Christian & Missionary Alliance pastor in several churches. He holds a B.A. in History from Nyack College and a Masters of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary. He completed his Doctors Ministry degree at Fuller Theological Seminary. Ron has pastored C&MA churches in Connecticut and California. He planted Risen King Community Church with Dr. Terry Wardle in Redding, California in 1989. While living in Redding for 10 years, he taught part time at Simpson University. Ron has spoken at numerous Christian and secular colleges across America, and at churches and conferences throughout the US and internationally. He has written a book on stewardship—Stewardship & the Kingdom of God—published by the Christian & Missionary Alliance and chaired the committee that wrote the C&MA position on Spiritual Gifts, Expectation Without Agenda.

Ron has been married to Wanda (Director of Spiritual Formation at Nyack College) since 1984. They have four adult children: Kelly, Brice, Karis, and Karly, and one granddaughter, Isabella.
